1. The number of LED panel lights
Regarding the project, calculate the number of LED panel lights required. It should be noted here that the LED panel light strips can be cut in groups of three. Usually, the length of each group of 60 LED panel light strips per meter is 50mm, and the length of each group of 30 LED panel lights per meter is 100mm. . After understanding this, you can calculate the actual number of LED panel lights used according to the construction effect design drawing. Usually, it is enough to reserve a spare length of about one meter to avoid capital waste caused by excessive acquisitions.
2. LED panel light power supply
Since the power supply is not distributed when purchasing LED panel lights, after calculating the length of the required LED panel lights, it is necessary to calculate the power of the required power supply, and then match the power supply. Different LED panel lights have different powers, so you must choose carefully about the matching power supply.
For example, if you purchase a 5050LED panel light and the matching power supply is 12V, 4A standard, then a power supply can only carry a 6-meter 5050LED panel light. Since the power of 5050LED panel light per meter is 7.2W, 6 meters total 43.2W, and the rated power of the power supply is 48W, it is usually not recommended to use the power supply at full load, because it has a great impact on the life of the power supply, it is recommended to only use the power supply 95 percent . If it needs 100 meters, then the corresponding 4A power supply needs to be equipped with at least 16.
3. LED panel light controller
For LED panel lights, a controller must be equipped to be effective, and the length of the light bar that can be controlled by a controller varies from 5 meters to 20 meters, depending on which standard controller is selected. In this way, after purchasing RGB light strips, it is also necessary to purchase additional controllers according to the control length of the controllers, or to purchase RGB amplifiers (each amplifier can extend 5 meters). Don't mistakenly think that one controller can complete all the control needs of RGB light strips, this is a wrong concept.
For example, a 100-meter LED panel light was purchased, and the controller was a conventional controller, that is, the control range of each controller was 5 meters. Then a 100-meter LED panel light needs to be equipped with 20 RGB controllers, or purchase one RGB controller and 19 amplifiers for others.
